Christmas

Children of p4 and p5 learn the christmas vocabulary, the songs on the books and decorate a huge christmas tree stuck on the floor.




Primary students (1st to 6th level) write Christmas wishes to Santa.

Halloween

Every Halloween we decorate our classroom with ghosts, skeletons, pumpkins... I tell a Halloween story to the children and follow up the session with different activities depending on their level.

Children of p4 prick pumpkins, we review parts of the face vocabulary (eyes, nose and mouth) doing this activity.


Children of p5 make plasticine pumpkins and use the press outs given at Patch 2 to sing the Halloween song and to make puppets. They look very scaring on their halloween dresses!!

Students of primary (1st & 2nd level) decorate our Halloween Castle with pictures.


Children come to school dressed up as ghosts, monsters... they also bring pumpkins to the class to make a lantern exhibition.
